Honda unveils its commuter dream.. err.. "Dream Yuga"
Styling mirrors the CB Shine..
110 cc engine from the CB Twister
"Dream Yuga", this one definitely has to be among the top of my list of weird motorcycle names. Yep, "Dream Yuga" is the chosen name for Honda’s much talked about foray into the voluminous commuter/100 cc motorycle category of India. This particular model from Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) was unveiled on the first day of the 2012 AutoExpo.
This particular motorcycle might not interest enthusiasts but it is a very important card in Honda’s grand game plan for India. Given the fact that Honda has officially put it on paper to part with its erstwhile partner Hero, I am expecting Dream Yuga to get top priority in the coming days from Honda.
But dude, that’s a weird name "Dream Yuga".
In terms of looks the Dream Yuga looks quite identical to the 125 cc CB Shine. Dream Yuga comes with a 110 cc engine which also does duty on the Honda’s CB Twister bike. I was really impressed with the engine of the CB Twister so one can expect the Dream Yuga to have great all round performance as well.

They are trying to sound Hero Honda'ish in the name to get into the heartland where hero honda sells by the truckloads.
Sounds like some book based on meditation and yoga !
Really wierd the name is.
Why not Shine 110 ? Shine has got good reputation in the market and Honda should have struck to the 'family name'
Dude,
which bike is the black one placed behind the "Dream Yuva" kinda caught my eye...
@Anil,
Shine 110, that is definitely a good name, plus the "Shine" brand needs no introduction in India
@NeedDude,
the Black motorcycle is a replica of one of Honda's early motorcycles
engine of twister .. but it may not handle as good as twister..
but at least it won't have the stiff suspension of twister..
ooo! my back aches at times on broken roads..
Yup, Shine 110 would have been much better. But, Honda wouldn't bother as they know Honda needs no introduction in India. I thought Hero Moto's Ignitor was much more funny & weird!
So, now it is going to be Honda Dream Yuga versus Hero Passion Pro versus Suzuki Hayate in the same 110cc category.
The 100cc Splendor, Discover 100, and Star City are one-step below.
The main battle will be between Yuga and Hayate and passion won't be able to compete with these two in terms of reliability and durability.
not good....
Kayate and Cream Yuga. Hahahahaha....I want to meet the blokes who are responsible for naming these poor biked.
Ha ha ha. So idiotic hayate and yuga. Passion x pro definately looks better
passion pro contained honda engine...now hero dosenot make any change except engine,it is bad work done by hero and i confirmed hero cannt make such engine quality like a honda made for hero honda..at last hero start with all downfalls of hero honda ...honda hitted hero market market...honda work with best stratgy and qualitY
I assure honda yuga big marked in 110cc segment and it is starting by honda for india
all d best honda ..
